Here at Orchard Timber Buildings we have over 40 years of experience. We cover the whole of Norfolk from our base in Wymondham. We offer a full range such as the everpopular Pent & Apex, or why not try something a little bit different like the potting, mower or extension shed. We offer both standard sizes or can build anything to your bespoke specifications.

Wooden Cabins

We build a range of wooden cabins and garden offices which we deliver and erect all over Norfolk and Suffolk. These buildings are designed for use all year round and have exploded in popularity since the pandemic. They are ideal for people needing that bit of extra space but do not want the huge cost (and wait) of a builder building an extension. All of these buidlings are built to bespoke requirements. And are fully insulated and utilities ready.

The Birch

The Birch is the smaller sibling of the Oak and Maple – the same great features but smaller in size. Featuring an overhang / veranda if needed. All buildings are finished in a choice of stained colours (Brown, Straw or Red Cedar), plus additional hand painted colours are available at extra cost.

Wooden Dog Kennels & Runs

The Pent

The Pent garden shed has a single sloping roof, which can be sloped to the side of your choice. It has full glass panels as standard, though both windows and doors can be altered in position to suit the individual client. The Pent shed is on show at our site in Wymondham, Norfolk.

The Apex

The Apex garden shed gets it’s name from it’s apex roof. Available in all sizes this timber building has windows fitted as standard, completely down one side. Windows can be changed in design and positioning if required. The Apex shed is on show at our site in Wymondham, Norfolk.

The Apex is our best selling shed.

Bin & Wood Stores

All of our bin and wood stores are completely unique. These can be completely stand alone or as part of a new timber building. In-fact we can even integrate them into an existing building if required. Dry wood is key to reducing smoke and increasing warmth with modern wood burners. Wheelie bins are often un-sightly and the ability to hide them is very desirable.

Wooden Shelters

Wooden shelters can be used for any number of requirements. We have built shelters for schools, horse paddocks, shooting shelters and just for general garden use such as an open fronted garage. These can be left open or part closed as seen in the pictures.

The Chesnut Lodge

The Chesnut lodge summerhouse has a low pitch roof with chunky 2″ x 3″ roof rails and large barge boards giving it a winter lodge/solid feel and look.It can have either single or double doors with a variety of front arrangements available. All windows and doors are georgian and this building has a 2 foot veranda as standard.

The Cedar

This summerhouse is 6′ 6″ at the eaves and has a high pitch roof making it feel very large and roomy. With all this glass (plain or leaded) it is bright and airy making it ideal for a studio or a bright garden room. Bottom panes can be boarded for safety if required.

The Sycamore

A real eye catcher, the Sycamore can sit anywhere in the garden, hidden in a corner or placed centrally as the main feature. With 5 of the 8 sides glazed as standard this summerhouse lets in plenty of light. Include the lead window option and it really takes the building up another class!

The Firs

The Firs is a lovely corner summerhouse that will fit snugly into any garden. Featuring a flat roof and because of the unique shape, no space is wasted. Making this summerhouse ideal for even the smallest of spaces.

The Beech

This flat roof summerhouse has a very practical rectangular base with a large, flat slanted roof. A bright building that offers something that little bit different and is more modern in design than the average summerhouse. Providing a pleasant place to sit and admire your garden during the summer months.

The Maple

The Maple is very similar to the the Oak in design, but has a 2 foot roof overhang rather than a veranda. It is a timeless classic and one of our most popular styles. The overhang is not included in the above sizes.

The Elm

A lovely corner summer house with added character due to the standard leaded windows and pitched roof. The roof overhangs the the doors and forms a canopy to add an outside shelter. This building has a clear height of 6′ 6″ to the eaves and 8′ 6″ to the ridge.

Garden Offices

We build a range of garden offices from our workshops in Wymondham, Norfolk. From, small and simle designs for those tight on space. To more lavish designs when you are going all out! All wooden garden offices are built to your bespoke requirements. And can be fully insulated and utilities ready.

Timber Greenhouse

We offer completely bespoke hardwood greenhouses. This particular style uses sapele framing and bottom boarding, glass glazing and the roof is made from special solar panel type glass in the roof.
